Nursing people can identify the type and location of patient call.
@NCM (at Nurse Call Monitor) is a client application that works with bbNCS (Bluebox Nurse Call Server). The bbNCS takes the message from the PBX (GDS or TDS Hybrid IP Communication), processes the information, and delivers it to all clients. The atNCM decodes the information and transforms it to user-friendly interface. Key features for @NCM are:
1. It displays all the un-answered calls with information of the type and location of call, including room and bed number, and panels name with distinguishable icons.
2. It displays all the un-cancelled panels, which make a call but no one to give care yet, with distinguishable icons.
3. It displays the current status of registered extensions with icons (idle, ringing, talking or busy that need to be hanged up). Therefore, nurses can know who is calling and go to give care without going back to nurse station for checking the call.
4. It displays the history records of registered extension’s calls . (The last 20 call records: incoming, outgoing, missed or dropped calls). This is a notepad for nurses to remember which call is answered.
5. It displays the Emergency Alarm information. If the call is answered at Nurse Station but no nurse gives care within pre-assigned time (programmable by seconds on server), an Emergency Alarm signal will be broadcasted to all @NCM that will play the pre-recorded alarm sound on each individual mobile phone or tablet.
6. The Panel’s name or notice can be announced when a new panel call is arrived. This audible announcement can be enabled or disabled by each mobile phone individually.
7. A dedicated panel of Nurse Presence status is for management purpose. (It can be enabled or disabled.)
